Spade Racing Opens Classic “Blaster Boxes” and Premiere Sets

Recently I acquired a collection of Nascar cards from the past thirty years.  Most of it was unopened “Blaster Boxes” (those things you see near checkout at big box stores) as well as a few early-90’s “Premiere Sets”.  Lets open them and see what’s inside!

Press Pass Premiere Part 1—Two out of three, long-haired Petty, and the WFT

FIRST LOOK: The picture quality wasn’t very good in this set, but the 1993 rookie class sure was!  Here we see a future four-time champion, a future one-time champion, and a guy who laughs funny.

TO THE BACK: Some good commentary from Kyle on what its like growing up in a famous family.  Even better, this was during that period where it always looked like he had a fan blowing his hair back.

SAY WHAT: “Yeah, Washington won’t miss me.  What’s the worst that could happen—some telemarketer buys the team and they come up with a lame new nickname?”

RATING: 4 flat spots out of 10
