Nascar Race Picks: Uncle Max vs. The Tarot Deck—Indianapolis (both types)

Well, I’m back from inventory.  And it…did not go well.  None of the numbers lined up, so we’ll be forced to go through some extra loss prevention training.  Which is JUST what I want to do for the rest of the month.  On the plus side, this location isn’t the model store for our holiday set-up like my old store was, so there’s that.

But beyond that, I gotta apologize for my picks this year—they’ve been ok in Trucks and Xfinity but terrible in Cup.  I’m REALLY hoping the lead up to the Playoffs puts me on a hot streak, or might be forced to give back the zero dollars my nephew pays me to write these.

Friday Night TRUCK SERIES (2 wins) TSport 200: Christian Eckes—this race is at whatever the hell they’re calling Indianapolis Raceway Park nowadays.

Saturday Afternoon XFINITY SERIES (2 wins) Pennzoil 150: John Hunter Nemechek—he’s not a road course guy, but no reason to get off the JHN train yet.

Sunday CUP SERIES Verizon 200:  The Tarot Deck (1 win) selects the Page of Swords, Ty Dillon.  FAVORITE: AJ Allmendinger—the best way to not have to worry about “pointing” your way into the playoffs. NEXT FAVORITE (1 win): Denny Hamlin—will he pour FedEx boxes on the yard on bricks?  DARK HORSE: Justin Haley—he DID almost win at Chicago.
