PACK 9—Deegan, Bowman, and Self-Sponsored Man
FIRST THING’S FIRST: Here’s a pattern from this set—lots of Hailie Deegan. Makes sense since she’s the brightest rookie around (in terms of new to Nascar racing) but it also reminds me why cards have lost their luster as collectables. “You like tough to find pieces? Well here’s lots of easy to find tough to find pieces!”
TO THE BACK: Alex Bowman seems like a cool guy, but this quote here makes him sound like the King of Dullsville. I’m expecting him to follow it up with “You lose 100% of the races you don’t enter” or “Teams win races.”
