Recently I acquired a collection of Nascar cards from the past thirty years. Most of it was unopened “Blaster Boxes” (those things you see near checkout at big box stores) as well as a few early-90’s “Premiere Sets”. Lets open them and see what’s inside!

FIRST LOOK: Why is Jimmy so happy here? Is it because he’s driving for the legendary Bobby Allison? No. Is it because his hat covers his toupee? No. Is it because he just learned he’ll be getting lots of free McDonalds in 1994? Yes.
TO THE BACK: Ken(ny) Schrader talks about his well-known love of racing “…anything with wheels on it.” You younger fans might not remember, but Schrader put up quite a fight in the 1988 Tour de France before a leg injury forced him out.
SAY WHAT: “I really hope I get to go out on top—nobody wants to be racing around at the back of the pack, ESPECIALLY when they’re a senior citizen”.
