Well, I’m back on the mend. No, not my awful string of picks so far this year, but my health. Having the flu is no joke—I was stuck in my townhouse with nothing to do but lay around and nothing to watch but old In The Heat of the Night reruns on MeTV.
As for that big meeting I had at work a few weeks ago, I have some good news and some bad news, and they’re the same: I’m being transferred to a new location. On the plus side its a busier store, I’m not losing any money, and its actually about the same drive-time as my current location. On the minus side its never fun to have to make a change, and I’ve really gotten used to the crew at my current store. Well, there’s no use in whinging about it it—I officially transfer the day after Memorial Day.
